SO! Congrats for looking to take that first step! Here's a guide in case you're unsure how to take the next one!STEP ONE: Choose an artist! We have three amazing artists you can choose from, please take a look at their portfolios to see if you have a preference! Alternatively, we can make a recommendation for you if you're unsure, based on availability, budget and what style of tattoo you're looking to get! STEP TWO: Book in a consultation or tattoo appointment.Often times, especially for smaller projects, we wont require a consultation prior to your appointment unless you would like to connect with your artist directly! Please note: Norton has a $50 consultation fee, Tynan & Anita offer free consultations. What to expect for your:Consultation - Here, we get you in for a quick 15 minute chat where you and your artist can bounce ideas off of each other, answer any questions you have and talk you through the process more in depth. For larger projects, (Roughly the size of an A4 paper or larger) - we recommend this so your artist can give you a time and cost estimate while you're in.Tattoo Appointment - When you arrive, your artist will come over and sit down with you so the two of you can review the final design, you will have plenty of time to make any adjustments or tweaks to make sure you're really happy with the outcome! Important note: We do not show designs via social media, so please do not ask; if you would really like to see the design before your tattoo appointment, a separate consultation can be set up prior to your appointment so you and your artist can discuss adjustments in person. We also cannot start any designs until a deposit is paid to secure your appointment. Please refer to our T&Cs for more information on this:STEP FOUR: Tattoo Time!So the day has finally arrived and you're excited, scared and nervous! Not to worry! Lets make sure you're prepped! Please make sure that you drink plenty of water to hydrate you're skin in the days/weeks leading to your appointment.Snacks are welcome! Bring in some sugary sweets to help you get through the day, the more comfortable you are, the easier you will sit, which in-turn, makes it easier for your artist! You are welcome to bring in a support person, but they must wait in the waiting area while you're under the needle to make sure our main working space doesn't get too crowded. Please tell your artist if you feel you need a break! No one will judge! Ill bet ya $5 that they need a stretch too!Aftercare will be explained at the end of the day once the works complete.I think that about covers it! Please feel free to include any questions you have not covered above when you get in touch!
Chow for now!
